A book that covers the complete story of tractor development in Eastern Germany during communist government. Written by the director of tractor development in those days Achim Bischof and therefore very informative about the history of tractor development in Eastern Germany. It includes test projects and prototypes of tractors that never went into
production, such as suspended tractors and tractors built to the Doe, County or MB trac concepts. Also the import tractors are presented, primarily tractors from Eastern European countries and the former Sowjet Union. Brands are e.g. Belarus, Zetor, IMT, Dutra, Kirowez, IFA, Famulus, and ofcourse a lot of Fortschritt.
