To celebrate the 100 year Anniversary of Vicon, a special book about Vicon - 100 years of Agricultural Mechanisatation has been developed.

A historical summary of Vicon’s innovations that Hermanus Vissers started as a contractor in Haarlemmermeer (NL), a pioneering area for agriculture mechanisation in the Netherlands. The book shows the contribution of Vicon to the agricultural developments worldwide.

Arthur Nutbey, author and initiator for the Vicon Anniversary book worked for 25 years for the Vicon organisation in Nieuw-Vennep. During this period he built up a great source of Vicon history and together with the help of many people he has registered all milestones in this “Vicon 100 years of agricultural mechanisation” book.

This book describes the origin of the largest agricultural machinery manufacturer in the Netherlands and its development into a brand new world renown for forage harvesting and crop cultivation. An absolute ‘must have’ for anyone that is interested in the historical development of Agricultural Machinery. Very well illustrated with colour and black and white photographs throughout.
